The NRL visit.

On Tuseday 26th March, the NRL people came to our school here in Carlingford. First thing after recess our class lined up.

Next we walked down to the  oval where  there were two people from NRL. Then they introduced themselves. Their  names were Rocky who was from the Dragons and Brie from the West Tigers.

After that they chose four captains. A little while later they they taght us how to score. Then they told us how to kick. Lots of people were very good at kicking.

Next they told us how to get past a defender. Every body had a go at being a defender and everyone was great.

After that it was time for the teachers to choose two people from each class who tried their best.I was lucky and won a prize, so did Lachlan W.

It was great fun learning these skills from the NRL.

It was interesting to hear all about her life as she grew up in Australia. Her life was very different to the lives of the students in 2J.

I feel most happy when I go to New Zealand with my family because New Zealand has nice beaches. I like that I get to visit my dads mum and dad because they live in New Zealand. They have a path that leads to a beach.
When you walk down the path to the beach there will be toys to play with in the water. The toys are on the side of the path
