The famous person l would like to meet would be Keith Urban.

He is a famous singer.

I like him because he is my favourite singer in the world.

Koalas

Koala’s are a furry marsupial which are only found in Australia.  They eat over 300 eucalyptus leaves a day. 

There are over 600 koalas in Australia.  Koalas are grey in colour.  They have two beaming blue eyes, three fingers, one big black nose and very sharp claws.

Koalas start off as a little grey dot and are born the size of a jelly bean.  They start opening their eyes after two weeks and then grow features like ears, feet and hands.  When the Koala’s are about six months old it stars hanging on its mum’s back.

 

Koala’s are at risk of being extinct, so don’t cut down the existing gum trees.

Koalas eat gum leaves. They drink the juice that drops from gum leaves. They don’t drink from ponds, rivers the sea or lakes. They don’t ever go on the ground.

We need to stop cutting down gum trees or koalas will become extinct.

Koalas are marsupials that can only be found in Australia.

The koala`s fur is coloured brown or grey. Koalas eat eucalyptus leaves which give them water. Koalas stomachs are white.

Baby koalas are as small as a jelly bean.  Koalas have razor sharp claws, small ears and brown eyes. Koalas sleep for the day is because eucalyptus leaves are tough so they need to digest them.

Koalas are dying because people are chopping down gum trees down.

Week 2 Journal entries. The Best Gift Ever...

The best gift ever was my Xbox 360. My Dad got it for me for Christmas. My favourite game is sonic episode 4. I like him because he is my favourite game character.

The best gift ever was a love heart that my brother made from clay. It has hole to put sting in to hang up.

It also has writing on it saying “To Serenity love from Bailey.”

I love that gift!

The best gift ever l got on Christmas day was very big. It was a doll’s house. It was my favourite.

Inside the box was a table, two chairs, one dog, a dog house and different stuff. My brother and my dad built it.

It looks amazing and l play dolls all day. It was the best gift l ever got.

I played the ukulele until it was all broken.

It was very sad, but I got another one. I still have the second one, but now I have a piano, so I play the piano more than the ukulele.

I miss my ukulele.

The Best Thing About The Holidays Was

The best thing about the holidays was when I went to my cousin’s house for a sleep over for two days. In the morning we went in the backyard to play with their bunnies. One was fast but the other was super slow. They were called George and Rebecca.

The best thing about the holidays was going to the Hunter Valley. We stayed there for one day. We saw lots of kangaroos there.  The kangaroos ran away from us. When we were going to eat lunch I saw l saw a lot of grapes growing in the fields. My dad took  lots of photos of us. There were a lot of beautiful things. We went to the Hunter Valley Garden.

When we went back home my sister and I felt like we had been living in the Hunter Valley for one year.

The best thing about the holidays was going to Jacinta’s birthday party. My little brother and I went to Jacinta’s birthday party. It was in the cinemas. The movie was Monsters University.

[My little brother Lachlan was invited too. My brother gave Jacinta some things to go in her hair. I gave Jacinta a very fragile present. The movie was good. I think that you should see the movie.

The best thing about the holidays was when I went to watch ‘’Dispicable Me 2’’.

It was a hilarious movie. My mum was laughing the whole way through. It was the funniest movie I have ever seen.

It is all about a man named Gru who adopted three children. Then he fell in love with a secret agent.

I recommend this movie to everyone.

The best thing about the hoiladays was that I had my birthday and birthday party.

For my party I got to watch "Monsters University"and I got a lot of presents like Littlest Pet Shops toys.

I had a delightful time.
