This week we have been learning how to write a biography of our grandparents. Please read these and leave a comment.

A Biography of my Grandmother

My grandmother was born on 16th June 1947 in the country called  The Philippines. She grew up in Pampanga in a

province in the Philippines.  After school she started working as a medical technologist in a hospital.

 She got married when she was 29 years old. She then had three children my Uncle Noel, Uncle JR and my dad Alvic.

She is so special to me because she took care of me when I was a baby.

Biography of my Dad
My dad was born in China in 1974. His name is Thomas. He grew up and went to school in Parramatta.
When he left high school he went to Westmead College. He now works in an office.
In 2003 he got married to jade (my mum) my mum used to work in a bank. He has two children. He now works in an office not far from home.
My dad is great at helping with my homework because he is good at English.
I like my dad because he takes such good care of us.

My Dad was born on 5/11/1970. He was born in Sri Lanka and raised in Sri Lanka.

He got married on the 1/5/2000.
My Dad helped his mum and his brothers and sisters. My dad has two children named Andrea and Ian.

My grandma was born on 25th December many years ago.
She was born at The Temple Cloud Hospital in the UK.
My grandma grew up in many places. One of them was Yeouil  in the UK. She studied Business Studies.
 My grandma had two children named John and Elizebeth.
I like my grandma. She is special because she spoils me
and she is so much fun.

Biography of my mum

My mum’s  name is Christine and mum was born in 1972. Her birthday is  5th October. Mum was born in Sydney. She grew up in North Sydney then Epping.

She got married in 2000. She became a midwife and a nurse. My mum had four children.

She is special because she cares for me. I love my mum so much.

My mum was born on 4th March 1975. She was born in Australia. My mum grew up in Sydney.

When my mum left school she got a job in Real Estate.

My mum and dad got married on 16th March 2002. They have three children.

My mum is special because she looks after me.

When my dad left school he became a brick layer.
He was married in 2000 and had four children.

My Nan
My Nan’s Name is Marjorie Ann Jones and she was born on 17th May 1947 at Wee Waa.
Nan and Pop married when my Nan when she was 22   years old and together they had six children. They were all girls.
Pop taught Nan how to drive when she was 22.
Nan finished school at 14 years old and at the start of high school she needed to get are job to help pay the family bills.
She went to school at Wee Waa Catholic School.
Nan is an excellent cook and she won many prizes.
Her first prize was for her scones.
When I grow up I want to be are good cook like her.
