Week 6 Journal Entries The things that could be better in my neighbourhood are...

Things that could be better in my neighbourhood would be that it could be less noisy and that it could have a local store near our house.

Another thing is that there would be less people speeding.

The things that could be better in my neighbourhood are when the man down stairs smokes and leaves his door open it causes pollution. Another thing is that there is a big slab of concrete that could be turned into a big hot spa with a waiter who brings you fruit and cocktails. The cars in my neighbourhood are really fast and annoying so they should put up speed cameras and traffic lights. I like my neighbourhood.

What I like about where I live

I love the place I live.

I like the place I live because my house is near the school. (I live just across the road).

I like my house because I can practise my typing skills. I love my house because we each have private toilets. ( We have four toilets).

The place I live is awesome.

What I like about where I live is that it has a Seven Eleven store right across the street. My house has a backyard with lots of space.

My house is the best house ever.

I like where I live because I live near two of my friends. One of my friends goes to Epping West and the other goes to Carlingford Public, my school. I play with them nearly every weekend. Sometimes I play with my brother’s friends.

I love where I live.

What I like about where I live is my garden is very big and my home is close to the shops. My family and I can walk to the Carlingford shopping centre. I like my home because it very nice and close to Carlingford Public School.

What I like about where I live is that my neighbourhood is very very very quiet I   have a  humongous backyard. The big space in the living room I can play in. and in the backyard there is a nice brick space and lots of grass. I love my house.

What l like about where l live is that l live in a quiet street .I love my house and have friends at the next house. I have a nice garden and have a cubbyhouse. The best thing about my house is that l have got my own room.

What I like about where I live is that it is quiet,I get to own room and my family lives in a quiet street. I live in a town house. Down the road is a take away shop and a Chinese shop. There is a comunity garden that my mum and dad built near my house. I love our house!

What I like about where I live is that there is heaps of cleaning to do it keeps mum busy. There is a park three blocks away. Down stairs there is a park that has a climbing frame made out of milk cartons and cement. We do not need to pay rent because my pupoo built the place. It has five units a park down stairs and a very long veggie patch. I love my home.

A great place to go is Forster because it has everything. There is everything to do you would never get bored.’ Some things that you can do are swimming in the water or in the indoor pool, picnics, tennis, bowling or go for breakfast. Forster is a three hour drive. I love Forster.It is the best.

A great place to go would be Questacon in Canberra. Questacon is a centre that has a lot of science activities. It even has a show room.

A Great Place To Go…

A great place to go for me would be the National Dinosaur Museum. I would like to go there because you can do a little Dinosaur tour. There is a shop and a little play area.

At the end of a tour you can get a mini dinosaur or prehistoric creature tooth. My sister got a snake tooth and I got a Smilodon tooth. I love the National Dinosaur Museum.

It is in Canberra and Canberra is one of my favourite towns

A great place to go would be the Australian outback The Australian outback is a great place to go because it has farms with horses, cows, chickens and goats.

In the outback there are also spiders, snakes, camels, lizards and birds.

I hope I can go to the Australian outback one day!

A great place to go would be Indonesia because my dad can show me his old house and I might be able to see more relatives of my kind.

I also like it because you might get to live in a cabin.

A great place to go is Melbourne because their holiday houses are very pretty and they’re near the beaches. In the holiday houses there is a TV, 3 beds, a computer, a kitchen, a sofa and some chairs and a table.

The shells on the beach are sometimes sharp. You can see the light-house from the beach.

When we go my dad drives my family and I there.

A great place to go is to Nelson Bay.

Nelson Bay is like a zoo! There are houses. Nelson Bay is such fun! Nelson Bay has a beach and it is a perfect place to go.

A great place to go is Stockton Beach. It is in New castle.

Stockton Beach is a great place to go because its a wonderful place to fish and find pipis.

You can drive 4x4s on sand. From my house to Stockton it takes two hours to drive.

A great place to go is The English lolly shop because it has old lollies and new lollies that you can try. It is on the left side of the city. My favourite lolly is a lolly that when. You put the lolly in the water it fizzes up and goes the same colder as the bomb. I like The English Lolly shop. It is a spectacular place to go.

A great place to go is Coolangatta .I think it is a great place because it has two pools . One pool has two water slides coming into it.

Coolangatta is in Queensland.

Spacecraft are vehicles like jets, but they go into space.

Rockets are forms of transport. They help us to go up and into space. The rockets run on fuel. Fuel helps the launch pad to lift up into the sky. The rockets have materials that are safe from heat.

The first astronaut to land on the moon was Neil Armstrong. When he first got on the moon he said, “The eagle has landed”.

Spacecraft is a type of transport that takes lots of equipment to outer space.

A spacecraft has 3-5 funnels, specialised parts a cockpit and other areas.

At a launch pad when the spacecraft is about to launch the astronauts aboard the spacecraft. Then the spacecraft starts to move. After that the rockets spill flames out of the bottom.

Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon. He accomplished the mission in 1969.
